Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Onboard platform (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
1. The Service
Onboard provides a software-as-a-service platform that enables digital agencies to manage client onboarding workflows, collect credentials and documents, and connect third-party accounts via OAuth. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your organisation to these Terms.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@onboardmy.site if you suspect unauthorised access.
- One account per organisation. You may not share accounts between separate legal entities.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- Prices are displayed in US dollars and exclude VAT where applicable. UK customers may be charged VAT at the prevailing rate.
- You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
- If payment fails, we will attempt to retry for up to 7 days before suspending your account.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where it applies.
- We reserve the right to change prices with at least 30 days' written notice. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
4. Free trial
We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will be downgraded or suspended unless you subscribe to a paid plan. No credit card is required to start a trial unless stated otherwise.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content that could damage our systems or those of other users
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our prior written consent
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or decompile any part of the Service
- Use the Service to process data in a manner that infringes third-party rights
6. Client data and data processing
When you use Onboard to collect data from your clients, you act as the data controller and we act as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to collect and process your clients' personal data, and for providing your clients with appropriate privacy notices.
We process client data solely to provide the Service and in accordance with your instructions. Our obligations as a data processor are set out in our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.
7. Intellectual property
- We own all intellectual property rights in the Service, including the software, design, and documentation.
- You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service (“Your Content”).
- You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service.
- We may use anonymised, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.
8. Availability and support
We aim to maintain at least 99.5% uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance. We will endeavour to schedule maintenance outside of UK business hours and provide advance notice where possible. Support is available via email at support@onboardmy.site. Priority support response times apply to Agency plan subscribers.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in that period.
- We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
If you are a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms.
10. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or if we are required to do so by law.
- On termination, you may export your data for 30 days. After that period, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Continued use of the Service after that notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
